Why does the price differ so much with different cleaning services?

There are many different types of cleaners, whether it’s private individual cleaners or cleaning businesses and companies.
Private individual cleaners are usually cheaper because they don’t need to have the same insurance that businesses and companies do. The smaller the overhead, the cheaper the service. Some cleaners need you to supply the equipment and products. Essentially, they come empty handed and need to use all your items including products, vacuum, and rags. These cleaners are usually the cheapest. Some other cleaners supply the cleaning products but still need to use your items like brooms, vacuums, rags, etcetera. Then there are other cleaners who provide everything. Products, supplies, vacuum, brooms, rags, other equipment, and all chemicals. Although, there are differing opinions on whether cleaners should provide mops and toilet brushes based on hygiene standards. When you hire a cleaning company and cleaners who provide all the supplies, you are paying for the time it takes to clean, prepare, and maintain all the tools and supplies needed to make your home beautiful and hygienic. The service cost also includes the storage and transportation of the items, carrying them back and forth to homes and Miracle Gleam Team Headquarters, as well as the resources to procure all the supplies and tools needed. Cleaning businesses and companies must also abide by regulations that increase the overhead and subsequently affect the price of the service. Most people aren’t aware that if a cleaner is injured or breaks your property, you are liable to pay the costs if the cleaner is not insured. Miracle Gleam Team keeps up to date with Safe Work SA as required, which means we protect against any injuries and/or loss. Without this, that is an extra cost out of the customer’s pocket if something goes wrong. Miracle Gleam Team prides ourselves on providing everything to you, which is all encapsulated within our service price. If you want your own products to be used, please let us know, but please note this will not change the service price. Additionally, Miracle Gleam Team’s distinctive scheduling style means that we assign a screened and checked staff member to you. Other companies work on a rotating roster system, which means different cleaners each time coming through the privacy of your home. Although sometimes scheduling can be a bit more difficult, Miracle Gleam Team ensures that you can maintain your privacy and develop a working relationship with the staff member assigned to you by giving you the same person every time. By keeping you with the cleaner you love, we provide a personalised and friendly service with quality assurance. We use eco-friendly products which are safe for children, pets, and those with sensitivities and allergies.

 Responsibilities of the Participant / Client:

​By utilising our services you are in agreeance and acceptance of the policies as outlined below, our complaints and resolution process has been made available for your viewing on this website, maintaining the highest quality and assurance that goes both ways for consumers, staff and the company.

•    To inform the provider of how they would like the support services to be delivered.
•    To treat the provider with courtesy and respect, working with the company to resolve any disputes.
•    To communicate with the provider if they have any concerns about the services being delivered.
•    To provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if the participant needs to reschedule or cancel a service appointment. A $50 charge for 24 hours’ notice. A full charge will apply if under 24 hours.
•    If there have been no cancellation cleaners will be sent to booking. If there is no answer or unable to contact client, the full booking amount will be charged.
•    To provide the required notice (2 weeks) if the participant needs to end the service. If the agreement is cancelled with less than 14 days’ notice (2 weeks) a $100 fee will be charged for breaking this contract outside required time frames.
•    To ensure all fees owing are paid by their due date.
•    Understand that only where a complaint has been made for a second time, Miracle Gleam Team may take photos of areas being cleaned ONLY, so protect the staff, support the complaints process, and prevent fraudulent/false claims against the company or non-payment for services received.
